What are the types of percussion notes?
| Percussion Note | Common Causes | |

| Resonant | Normal lung | Aerated lung tissue |
| Hyperresonant | Pneumothorax, COPD |

* Some authors refer to stony-dull as a separate percussion note. We have not included this here.
